Luke's bath time...

Abby helped me give little Luke a bath yesterday. She is really excited about helping with as much as possible. He still has his hematoma on his head and you can really see it in these pictures.

Some more video....

I am still trying to get my Christmas morning pics all uploaded so I thought I would put some videos of the kids on...

This is a video of Nate playing in the kitchen. He is such a busy little boy and left to his own he can find just about anything to make him happy....

This is Abby singing happy birthday to baby Luke...

Here is Luke...

Our new home...

I have been meaning to put some pictures up of our new house. Earlier I had posted some before pictures and since then we have been busy trying to put the house back together. I am so thankful that Brian was able to get us in before Luke was born. I wanted to wait to take some pictures till I was completely settled, ie..pictures and shelves hung, but that might still be a while. Here are some pics of downstairs...I will get to the upstairs soon =).

Abby & Nate

We let Abby open a couple of presents last night on Christmas eve. One of them was a princess cot from her Aunt Becky. She was soooo excited about it. Here is a video of her coming in and seeing it....

After she saw her new cot, she wanted to sleep in her playroom on it. Brian moved it up stairs for her to play with. We put Nate up there with her and started doing some chores downstairs. We have a video monitor that enables us to check in on them and when we did, this is what we saw...

soooooo cute =)!!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a fun filled day with all your families!! So much has gone on the last couple weeks. Lucas Michael was born on December 15th at 10:22 am. The birth didn't go as I had hoped but he was born healthy and happy and that is really what was important. I went into the hospital the night of the 14th due to a really bad headache and high blood pressure. They decided to keep me overnight and gave me some medicene to help me sleep. They started the pitocin about 7 am and by 8 am I had already had my water broke and an epidural. Things were going fast and smooth, except that Luke's heart rate was falling with each contraction. I kept changing positions and eventually I found a position he liked and his heart rate went back to normal. Around 10 am my nurse decided to check me and I was at 9-10 centimeters and ready to push, except that she also felt the cord at the same time. Things went really fast after that. My doctor and a team of nurses were at my side in seconds and rushed me to OR. The umbilical cord had come down first and Luke's head was putting pressure against it. If pushed too hard it could cut off his oxygen supply. The doctor had me push with two contractions in the OR but that didn't work. Within minutes Luke was born via c-section. It all happened so fast so I didn't really get too scared till it was all over. I was lucky that Brian was able to come in right before he was born. He was 9 lbs and 21 inches long. Other than a case of jaundice, which he spent a day in the pedatric wing under lights for, he is a healthy little man. Abby was so excited for Luke to be here and Nate really doesn't have any idea whats going on =). I am tired and sore but getting better every day. I just feel so blessed to see all three of my babies in a room together. I have had such a hard time keeping up with all my pictures so I am going to add some slide shows....Thank you for all your prayers and support!!

Time flies....

Wow, where did November go? I can't believe that Christmas is just weeks away. We have been so busy and for the last couple weeks I haven't had a computer at home so I thought I would catch everyone up on whats been going on. I have been going into the hospital for the last couple months about twice a week so they can monitor me and the baby due to preeclampsia. It has made this last bit of the pregnancy feel like it has been going so slow. Last week my doctor scheduled an induction for Monday morning the 15th. The last couple nights I have been up with contractions and last thursday I was already to a 4 so you never know, maybe something will happen this weekend. I will keep everyone posted...=) Abby and Nate are both doing good. Abby is just loving the Christmas season, she can't get enough of all the lights and decorations. Nate has been so much fun lately. He is getting into and climbing on everything, but he is just so happy and makes me laugh all the time. We moved into our new house over Thanksgiving and we love it. I am pretty much situated here and am glad to have everything done before Lucas gets here. In the next post I will hopefully have some pictures of our new place. Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas!!!!
