Addisyn Grace Santa

My newest little cousin arrived this week...Addisyn Grace Santa. Here are some pictures of her (only an hour old) with her beautiful Grammy and Papa and very tired Mommy and Daddy. She was born happy and healthy! Praise God!

Our Spooky Sleepover

Whats a spooky sleepover? A overnight trip to the San Diego Zoo!! So much fun! Abby and I went with some friends and had an incredible time. We arrived at the zoo around 4 in the afternoon dressed in costume. The adventure started with some craft time where the kids were able to make their own trick or treat bag. After that they took us into a room and we watched a movie with a pretty cool zebra. Then it was on to a private bus tour through the park. We sat on the top of a double decker bus and the kids thought it was pretty cool. After the bus tour they dropped us at camp Timbuktu. Camp was set up and waiting for us. Tents were all ready and they had little white lights strung all over the trees. We had dinner and then sat around a great fire and made smores. Then it was off to walk through the zoo (at night) to the reptile house where we went trick or treating. Every where someone was handing out candy there was a animal that we learned about and got to pet. We saw a owl, a crocodile, a tarantula and a blue lizard. Then the kids had a costume parade and surprisingly...everyone won! Then it was back to camp for scary stories around the campfire and a late (by this time it was 10 pm) hike to see some more animals. We were sure ready for bed when the time came. Abby loved sleeping in a tent and being with her friends. It even rained on us that night and I loved listening to it hitting the tent. The next morning we were up early and off to breakfast with the elephants. We were able to watch the trainers feed the elephants, jaguar, and lions pumpkins. It was such a great experience and I can't wait to take the boys. Next year Nate will be old enough!

Abby was wonder woman, John was a police man, and Claire was a pink poodle.

She was pretty shy about posing as wonder woman (as you will see in these pics)

I liked this sign. I need one for our bathroom since Nate has potty trained!
