Nate's School Party

My parents and I were able to go to Nate's Christmas party at school last week. This class has been such a blessing for Nate. He has progressed so much in the last few months. I am so thankful for his teachers. He goes twice a week for two hours and absolutely loves it! The class is focused on speech and language. The local elks lodge came to the party dressed as Santa and his helpers and most of the kids loved it. Nate did not! He wanted no part of Santa. I really enjoyed being a part of it!

Nate was holding the snowman in front of the class as everyone sang

He is so proud of himself. Can you tell?

Circle time is one of his favorite parts of class

They brough each child their own present...soooo nice!

Did I mention...Luke wasn't so fond of Santa either!

Luke turns 1!

Wow! My last little baby has turned one year old! Such mixed emotions for me. I am so very proud of my Luke. Things started out a little rough when he entered this world but the first year ended up being so much fun. He is such a happy, easy going little boy. He is not walking yet but loves to crawl and pull himsellf up so I am sure walking will come soon. He loves to sleep. He still takes two naps a day, one for 2 hours and one for 3 hours. I really like that part! =) I am so very thankful that he is a part of our lives.

Luke's first haircut

This month I took Luke for his first haircut. He didn't have much hair but what he had was growing long in the back, making him look a little like an old man with a mullet. My sister was so nice to point this out to me! He did really well! He was scared when I first put him in the chair and looked at the lady with a small amount of terror. The tears came but no crying and about half way into it (about 2.5 minutes) he was doing great!

Sea World in December

I love to start the Christmas season with a trip to Sea World in December. We all had so much fun this year. Nate LOVED it! His favorite part was the polar bears. Abby and Daddy played lots of games and won lots of toys. Luke pretty much just loved it all! My favorite is the shamu show with the Christmas songs. It is really amazing to still have a place that will sing Joy to the World, with the words on the screen for everybody to join in, in a public venue!
